In Conclusion, The Writers Are Gits.

AHA. LJ says that he closed his eyes, but he heard Gretchen cut off Sara's head. HEARD IT. DIDN'T ACTUALLY SEE IT. THERE'S STILL ROOM FOR SARA TO BE ALIVE. You know, if you ignore Lincoln seeing her head in a box and the fact that I can see no reason why Gretchen, who had a backup hostage and clearly has very little problem with killing people, wouldn't kill Sara. SHE COULD TOTALLY BE ALIVE.

(Please do not either reassure me or crush my feeble dreams. I do not want to know anything about episodes beyond 'Dirt Nap'.)

Speaking of decapitation-by-Gretchen: NO GRETCHEN NOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T KILL MARICRUZ. Well, I suppose technically you can, but I really, really don't want you to. AND YOU CAN'T FORCE SUCRE TO BETRAY HIS FRIENDS, EITHER. YOU HAVE EARNED MY SERIOUS DISAPPROVAL.

Lincoln/Sofia, however, gains my approval, because it is really really cute. Sofia has the BEING AWESOME WITH LINCOLN role I had sort of hoped Sara (I MISS YOU, SARA) would have in this season. Although without quite so much AWESOME, because Sofia, although I do love her, cannot quite fill the Sara-shaped hole in my heart. (I can see Lincoln/Sofia, though, and I could never really believe in Scofield/Sara, so I suppose Sofia gains the edge over Sara in, er, pair-up-ability.)

...I sort of want to rewatch the first and second seasons now. Just because. You know. Sara.

Please do not kill Sucre, Prison Break. You've already taken one of my favourites, and another five or so I really cared about. HAVEN'T YOUR CHARACTERS SUFFERED ENOUGH?

On second thoughts, perhaps it would not be a good idea to rewatch the first two seasons.

Is it odd to have an entry about Prison Break so soon after one about Avatar? I really do not understand my own taste in entertainment. The things I get into tend to be either bright and colourful and happy or infinitely depressing, with very little in between. A while ago, I was struck by this when I was travelling on the tube, carrying a bag containing both the second season of Prison Break and High School Musical 2. It's... not really a combination one would expect.
