GUYS. I really wanted you to do something new with the next Doctor! AND BY 'SOMETHING NEW' I DID NOT MEAN 'CASTING SOMEONE REALLY YOUNG'. I was hoping for someone older than Tennant, at least. YOU HAVE BETRAYED ME, DOCTOR WHO CASTERS.

I really wanted Paterson Joseph (or a woman, but I didn't really have much hope on that front), but alas it was not to be. Or Neil Patrick Harris, because then I could go 'Wait, is that Neil Patrick Harris?' and I would be right and so wanttobeatree would not be able to mock me. IT IS NOT MY FAULT THAT ALL ACTORS LOOK LIKE NEIL PATRICK HARRIS TO ME, OKAY. I didn't think he looked particularly Neil Patrick Harrisey in the Confidential, but he will turn into Neil Patrick Harris at some point. THEY ALL DO.

...actually, I would not say no to Neil Patrick Harris as the Doctor.

Matt could be great! Of course he could be great! I haven't seen him in anything yet! But I can't help being a little disappointed anyway. Sorry, Mr Smith (they should have cast a John Smith, shouldn't they?). At least you're not in the position of Tennant, replacing a Doctor I adored, so you've already got a fair chance of beating him in my affections.


Anyway! Who do you think should be the Eleventh Doctor's companion? My vote is for you. YES, YOU, THE READER. Or Zac Efron, because that would just be hilarious. (EVEN THOUGH ZAC EFRON IS IN FACT THE ELEVENTH DOCTOR OH DEAR DID I JUST LEAVE A SPOILER OUTSIDE THE CUT?)
