I'm kind of liking the idea of Ryan/teen James, now that I think about it. Ryan discovers that James has musical talent and is all "You should help with the music for our play! You can accompany me on songs, and spend lots and lots of time alone with me while I belt out love songs and gaze soulfully into your eyes!" James is mostly just uncomfortable about this idea. Jeremy alternately mocks, and joins Dean in fleeing the scary pink woman, because she can't decide if she prefers Dean or Jeremy, so is going after both. And Richard continues to be fancied by no one, and gets in endless fights as he tries like hell to be a cool sort-of-punk art kid, but is largely mocked by people who keep assuming he's a freshman with ridiculous hair.
