Asjdhas to be fair, I did not know he was gay until you mentioned it in your journal (not - not this entry, the first time you mentioned it). Maybe casual followers of his were/are unaware? I don't think his media coverage mentions it much (other than The Sun, and er, Telegraph? article), so...
