It is an incredibly wonderful and alarming tome, I've found. You'll come away feeling distinctly different. Or at least, in my experience.
Square fandom knowledge makes Mana Khemia into a rather confusing game. There's also a Roxis, Vayne's sorta-canonical Foe Yay lover, which... yeah. You start out going "lol it's like Kingdom Hearts" and then by the end of the game you watch Axel's Hips Don't Lie and you start imagining Roxis singing in Spanish. Also, Vayne/everyone is sorta canon. It's a wonderful game, except that the ending is horribly depressing and wrong, but if you can forgive it that, it's charming and slashy and touching and, yeah.
