The degree I've just finished was at the University of Sussex, so I've been living in Brighton for a little while now; my housemate hasn't finished her Law degree yet, so I'm staying down there to keep her company for the next year. It's a nice enough place, and we're renting a nice little house there, but I wouldn't be able to live there for ever. Cambridge has a sense of history about it that Brighton lacks; the complete absence of any sense of the past I have when I'm in Brighton inexplicably freaks me out a bit.
The problem is that I'm presently unemployed. I'd hate to fritter all my savings away on the rent before I can move somewhere I really want to live. ...anyone need a copy-editor?

Ahaha, I did wonder about the 'trades' thing.
