His final speech to his father, about how his relationships with the people he loves are what he holds sacred and believes in - and I'm crying just thinking about it - comes very close to my own feelings.

DAMMIT RIONA, DON'T SUCK ME INTO WATCHING GLEE!

(I'm a terrific sucker for love. Big, broad, epic love. Part of the reason I'm so difficult to please in terms of romantic stories is because I care about all of the other loves in a person's life, and most romantic stories involve picking one person and at best giving everyone else a severe demotion in terms of love, and often becoming completely unloving towards everyone outside of the couple, and I just can't stand that. I want love that spreads, love that reaches out, love that makes you see the real flesh-and-blood humanity of everyone in front of you, love that makes you want to be better. I adore the kind of love that inspires someone to make themselves worthy of the other person's regard, inspires them to try. And that can be romantic, but it can also be love of a friend or a mentor or family or that strange sharp love for a stranger in need that makes you reach out and risk it just because they need you and you can. The closest I've come to a moment of heroism happened because I wanted to live up to the love I got from my parents. I want all of the love in the world acknowledged and valued and shared, because love can be powerful, and love spreads.

tl;dr - Love rocks.)
