Okay, Why Would The Queen Be Phoning Me?
- I am starting to notice a pattern in these episodes. ("We're not even at the first ad break yet! We still have three wrong diagnoses and treatments to get through, one of which will almost kill him!") In this episode, however, there was no "HIS BRAIN IS EATING ITSELF. FROM THE INSIDE" line, which was tragic. You can't not have the incredibly dramatic diagnosis! (Well, okay, it was a pretty dramatic diagnosis, but the way in which it was delivered was insufficiently dramatic. STUPID HOUSE WITH HIS STUPID NOT-BEING-OVERDRAMATIC. GET CAMERON TO ANNOUNCE IT NEXT TIME.)
- "We've got rectal bleeding."
"What, all of you?"
Brilliant.
- Oh, House, you awesome evil git. That scene where he was being so manipulative and deceitful was fantastic, in a really horrible way. Poor Max.
- "This isn't about her. If she tells the truth of her own accord that means that she's made the decision, you don't have to treat her - but for you the game's over, the patient dies, you lose."
I loved that so much. House really is a fascinating character.
- I have noticed that Wilson has a worrying habit of not showing up enough. Dammit, Wilson, I like you. Be there more.
- Oh, okay, so Max is sneaky and manipulative too. So yeah, everyone is fundamentally unlikeable. HOORAY. (That makes that 'I know. I love you too' just before the surgery so cruel.)
- I think that the moral of the story is that everyone should give Cameron a hug.

You know, at first I was kinda angry at Foreman, but after a meagre half an hour I reached the bizarre conclusion that I actually had more respect for him now. V. strange indeeed.
In truth, this was actually a kinda weak episode. Well, not weak, but certainly not as good as the series can be. So I'm glad you enjoyed it :3
YOU WANT DRAMATIC DIAGNOSIS? You just missed the episode with the Tick, didn't you? Ir's not so much the cause that's dramatic, but the way that House discovers it. You really should try and see that one XD
