THERE'S NO TIME OMG

- "Hmmm. Universe... Rose. Universe... Rose. Which to choose, which to choose..."

DEAR DOCTOR: YOU ARE AN IDIOT.

- Being able to chuck Devil!Toby through the window like that, and then put up the 'emergency shields' and be all fine and dandy? Yeah. Not buying it. I don't know, maybe in the future rockets are capable of not having their inhabitants explode at loss of air pressure no, not buying it. Of course, it's perfectly possible that my knowledge of space is woefully inaccurate and my laughing at this is just displaying my own ignorance.

- "I couldn't save the Ood. I only had time for one trip."

Yes. Only had time. Honestly, scriptwriters, you're just not trying any more, are you? (People on the Internet are coming up with wonderfully creative alternative explanations for why he might not have been able to pick them up. Next time a writer thinks he has to resort to 'DIDN'T HAVE TIME!', I'd advise him to put it to the fans.)

- ...I really don't enjoy this series as much as the last one. I mean, I have fun watching it, but I don't feel the same emotional attachment. In the last series, I was writing seriously (er, to some extent) about Why Jack Is Awesome and the Doctor/Rose/Jack dynamic; in this one I'm - well, making fun of everything, mostly. The Doctor/Rose dynamic has utterly lost my interest. The subtext was interesting when it was, you know, subtext. Now it's 'THEY'RE SECRETLY IN LOVE! HAVE YOU GOT THAT YET? THEY NEVER ACTUALLY SAY THE WORD 'LOVE' SO IT RLY IS SUBTEXT BUT THEY ARE IN LOVE. IN LOVE. MADLY SO. GOT IT YET? LOVE. I WILL NOW HIT YOU OVER THE HEAD WITH THE MALLET OF LOVE JUST IN CASE YOU'RE NOT COMPLETELY CLEAR ON WHAT THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS YET.' (Still, even with that said, 'Tell Rose... tell her... oh, she knows' was really rather cute.)

- I want to say something positive! I didn't hate that episode! I didn't even dislike it! Why can't I think of anything specifically positive to say?

Er, I liked the Captain and that Danny guy? (I have an utterly inexplicable sneaking fondness for Rose/Danny, actually.)

- (Seriously, I can't get over that. Only had time for one trip! Ahahaha!)
