Speaking as someone who also went to Lancaster (admittedly I didn't go to Blackpool then except for the Winter Ball but I've been when I was younger) I have no desire to defend Blackpool. ;-) Even when I was tiny I thought it was a bit skeezy and odd. Definitely odd.

If they put Derren Brown in a zoo it'd definitely be part of some clever mastermind plan of his. I'd be slightly afraid to visit him in case he was hypnotising all the people who came to stare for some nefarious purpose.
