If you mean to say that you haven't seen the Lord of the Rings films, the scene in which Frodo says goodbye to his friends and kisses Sam is here on YouTube! I think it's a really lovely moment. The films were a bit longer than I generally like films to be, but I feel that they portrayed the love between Frodo and Sam perfectly.

To be fair, Jason's sudden expertise is in hand-to-hand combat rather than swordfighting, but I don't think the average modern-day middle-class English person has much experience of hand-to-hand combat either.
