I'm glad I'm not the only person in its clutches! There's something ridiculously compelling about it. There are things about the USA that perplex me (a country with universal access to guns but without universal healthcare strikes me as a country with very odd priorities), but I think What Would You Do? shows its best side; it's a surprisingly uncynical nation. A lot of Americans genuinely believe that one person can make a difference, and so if they see something wrong they'll challenge it.
If they ever tried to film What Would You Do? in London, I suspect they'd attempt three scenarios and then give up. 'Mind your own business' is so heavily ingrained into us that I'd be amazed if anyone intervened; the rule for dealing with anything unexpected or uncomfortable is 'pretend you don't notice'. I love London, but you're highly unlikely to find any heroes here.
Good luck with Lightning Returns, if you do get to play it one day! It's utterly ridiculous, but it's good fun.
