If Reeve himself had been with the party, I'd probably have adored him (although of course in that case his storyline would probably have ended at the Temple of the Ancients).

Also, think of how much less amusing he would've been if he didn't spend 95% of his screen-time in FF7 roleplaying as a Scottish cat. :P
