I had this awful Mary-Sue in my head I'd run though while riding the school bus. She had claws and pyrokinesis and she grew wings.

I don't know why this makes me so happy.

Specifically, her lost love is a sword. He was a man, but - er, okay, this is a bit complicated.

- Elliot and Freedert are in love! Hooray!
- Secretly, their best friend Kyle is also in love with Freedert.
- Elliot goes off to war.
- Kyle prays to the Goddess of Time, 'Take away all the time Elliot has left!'
- Elliot dies on the battlefield.
- Freedert prays to the Goddess of Time, 'Give all the time I have left to Elliot!'
- Freedert dies; Elliot comes back to life.
- Elliot goes, 'GODDESS OF TIME, GIVE ALL MY TIME TO FREEDERT' and thrusts a sword through his own chest
- the Goddess of Time goes 'what the fuck, you told me to give her all your time and then ended that time by stabbing yourself, what am I supposed to do with this'
- the Goddess of Time, unable to bring Freedert back to life on account of Elliot's daft move, instead... preserves Freedert's soul in a painting??
- Elliot becomes a sword???
- eventually Elliot the sword is dropped into the painting and romantically pierces Freedert's heart????
- Daisuke, who made friends with Freedert (...inside the painting) and then saw her (literally) impaled by her sword-boyfriend, is permanently traumatised.
