Both very good games! Life Is Strange is a little clumsy at times, but it's got real heart and a great atmosphere. I never finished Horizon Zero Dawn, because I'm a little tired of open-world games, but what I played of it was enjoyable and stunningly gorgeous. They're both very strong examples of their respective genres.
One thing Life Is Strange has to recommend it is that the first episode is free, so you can try it out very easily! That's how it hooked me in: I went, 'Well, might as well try this free bit of game,' and inevitably I ended up buying the rest.
