It's so good! One thing that really struck me, in the visual novel, is the morning after the needle incident. Keiichi decides that he's just going to forget about everything, forget about the murders, forget about the needle, and they can be friends again, right? Everything will be okay, he can go back to his old life again, right? He still loves them so much and he's so desperate for them to stay friends.

And then Rena asks him whether he ate all the ohagi, and it's such a horrible jolt for him: he's not being allowed to pretend all of this away.
