Don't play Royal. Aside from a few quality of life upgrades, there's nothing in it you can't get from the original game, and its story manages to make the plotline so much worse. However, this is just my opinion; but I believe very strongly there's remarkably little value you get for the money/time you spend. (Although I did enjoy spending hours alternating between complaining about it and trying to make it make sense with likeminded friends.)
