Twelve-year-old Riona's prose style was extremely heavily inspired by Animorphs, and I think that probably remains the foundation of my writing style to this day: straightforward and unornamented, with short sentences and short paragraphs. It works, but it means I seethe with envy whenever I read writing by people who can actually describe things.

I was hoping Twin Mirror would be worth playing, but I've heard nothing positive about it. Alas!
