At one point, during some mild conflict with our landlord, my housemates banned me from speaking to him, because they knew I'm uncontrollably compelled to be polite and friendly. I had to stay in my room when he visited, because otherwise I was guaranteed to ruin the carefully cultivated atmosphere of quiet hostility.

It does seem like it could be fun. The Cat refuses to put any effort in and makes Alex do everything for him. Kryten does well on purely practical tasks but falls down on creative ones and is bad at lateral thinking. Lister tackles 'eat something repellent' tasks with absolutely no hesitation.
