This is interesting to hear! I think I've actually become less wordy; I've become perhaps a little too good at seeking out the shortest possible route from plot point A to plot point B, and I've occasionally received comments complaining that my style is too plain and straightforward. Sorry, commenters; it's just how I like to write!
