I really enjoyed it, actually! Oh, dear, I didn't make that clear at all, did I? I thought that it didn't feel terribly like a Harry Potter book, and I was upset by some things, but that didn't necessarily make it bad! The things that upset me were all 'NOOOOO I DIDN'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN', rather than 'NOOOOO THIS IS RUBBISH'.
AND YES, HEDWIG'S DEATH WAS AWFUL. I thought something might have been slightly wrong with me when I was mourning her more than quite a few of the other deaths in the book. I think it might have something to do with the fact that he had just saved her from falling and nooooo!
