This Can't Be Good.
...Guys. Harry Potter defeated Voldemort on Sam Winchester's fifteenth birthday.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS, BUT IT HAS TO MEAN SOMETHING. I mean, come on!
- When Harry Potter was a baby, his parents were killed by Voldemort. When Sam Winchester was a baby, his mother was killed by the Yellow-Eyed Demon. These murders took place at almost exactly the same time of year (the thirty-first of October in Harry's case, the second of November in Sam's).
- In both cases the mother is killed because she gets in the way of the killer, who is focused on the child.
- In both cases the house is also destroyed.
- In both cases the children form a psychic link with the thing that kills the parent(s), due (presumably) to ingesting blood in Sam's case and becoming attached to a part of Voldemort's soul in Harry's. These psychic links later result in painful visions and unusual abilities (telekinesis, Parseltongue) for both Harry and Sam.
- Bad things constantly happen to the people they care about.
- SAM DISCOVERS HE'S A WIZARD. Um. Sort of?
IN CONCLUSION: SAM WINCHESTER AND HARRY POTTER ARE THE SAME PERSON. Any questions?
(I prefer this theory to the horrific 'OH MY GOD, TROY BOLTON IS YOUNG SAM WINCHESTER' revelation I had whilst rewatching High School Musical yesterday. I really hate my brain sometimes. He's just - you know how Sam gets really awkward around girls he likes? TROY AND GABRIELLA WHEN THEY FIRST MEET. Look, I'm not enjoying this idea any more than you are.)
