Final Fantasy X is blazingly brilliant and I would definitely recommend it, provided you don't mind your games being a bit cutscene-heavy. Also, it's Playstation-exclusive, so you can only play it if you have a PS2 or PS3.

Everyone has been talking about this Spore game and I have no idea what it is! I think I shall educate myself via the wonderful world of Wikipedia.
