THIS IS AMAZING. 'Paradise'! The cold-but-so-de-Carabas reasoning of 'He should have brought Mayhew, it would have at least been one more body between him and whatever was here' (and, later, the cold-but-so-de-Carabas humour of 'I suppose you'll have to explain that to my ex-associate, or what's left of him')! And, oh, of course Anaesthesia ended up in Silent Hill. Poor girl.
