If I Recall Correctly, As Of Course I Unfailingly Do.

Also, Paterson Joseph as the Marquis de Carabas was excellent and amazing and I am going to take a moment to weep about his not being cast as the Doctor. HE COULD HAVE BEEN SO WONDERFUL.
(I am now even more certain that the Marquis needs to meet Derren Brown. They remind me quite strongly of each other.
Derren is going to hate him.)
I just wondered what a Neverwhere/Silent Hill crossover would be like, and then I realised that it would be quite difficult to make work. Neverwhere works as a potential crossover fandom because it has a location - London Below - into which one can merrily insert characters from other fandoms. Silent Hill's crossover potential is also location-based. It's not terribly easy to cross over two fandoms where the main crossover potential is in their locations; you can't send London Below to Silent Hill.
It would be fairly easy to turn London Below into Silent Hill, though, so, should I ever wish to send the actual characters of Neverwhere to Silent Hill, I shouldn't have too much trouble. Croup and Vandemar would never work, of course; Silent Hill would probably want to hire them. The Marquis could be extremely interesting, though, particularly if he has less collected company, and I'd quite like to see how Hunter would fare. The Marquis and Hunter are rather confident characters, of course, but Silent Hill does like to strip away confidence, and I think it could manage to unsettle de Carabas, even if he'd never show it outwardly.
On the topic of Silent Hill crossovers:

We did not focus on the good ideas.
'NICK IS CHASED BY GIANT SUGAR CUBES. THEY REPRESENT HIS DIABETIC ANGST.'
'THE MONSTERS DESTROY JOE'S CLOTHES AND HE CAN FIND NOTHING TO WEAR BUT LEOTARDS.'

Nick is apparently afraid of failure, for example, so the town would constantly put him into situations in which he would fail.
Let me just repeat: I would so read this.

And I can't write serious angst about the Jonas Brothers! I can't write for the Jonas fandom at all, really; I don't know nearly enough about them, and if I want to maintain my last tattered shreds of fannish pride I certainly can't learn about them.
I'd probably read it if someone else wrote it, though.

One of those is more likely to happen than the other.
I am very determined, you know.

I, er, don't know how it would differ from Silent Hill Above, but I'm sure something can be done with it.

I can't say I regret this particular mental shortcoming.)

Also, I have seen all episodes of the Jonas TV show so far, and I like it. A lot. It is cheesy and ridiculous and quite amusing, so I think it's right up your alley.
And sending Kevin Jonas to Silent Hill is just ridiculously mean. You can't do that to him. Sending Frankie is A-OKAY. He'll fit right in with his being an annoying little child.

I know! (Also, having seen Chiwetel Eijofor in "Kinky Boots", the latter looks mad enough to be able to pull off a Doctorial role as well...) Plus, Joseph had the advantage of a previous one-off role in Who, and previous track records with other good British TV shows (cf: Baker, Colin). I wonder if they could get him back at some point to play someone interesting?

"Now that would have been even more foolish." The Marquis said. "Would you rather be here with me, or back there between the Sisters and the Shepherds?" He didn't want to admit it, but the human vermin had a point. He should have brought Mayhew, it would have at least been one more body between him and whatever was here. This was a bad idea, but the idea of saving Ingress and having the Portico family owe him favors for life was too tempting to pass up and the last thing he'd need is Mayhew being all noble. Whatever this place the Angel's map was leading him to, it seemed to be as Broken as Islington was. The only notation It had written on the map was 'Paradise.' It was less than comforting.
**Later**
"This isn't really America...it isn't really anywhere." The form under the rags said to the Marquis. "This is just a bad dream, a nightmare. And since it's only that, nothing here can kill you."
"Yes well," The Marquis chuckled. "I suppose you'll have to explain that to my ex-associate, or what's left of him. Now, come out from there so I can be properly horrified by...whatever you are." He pulled off the rag coving the figure's head and stared. Somehow seeing a perfectly normal, intact, human face seemed more disturbing than what he was expecting. "Who...are you?"
The girl under the rags sniffed. "Just because this is where the Night hides things...just because this isn't real...doesn't mean it doesn't hurt." She looked at the Marquis for a moment and then squeaked out her name the way all rat-speakers did. "Anesthesia."

Anaesthesia looked away. The Marquis frowned. "What was that look for Mouse?"
"Ingress...isn't in the same Here where we are. She was perfectly safe here...that's why this was a perfect hiding spot for her. And since Richard has the Key he can be in whatever Here he wants to be..." She sighed.
"What is it? Out with it girl!"
"Richard came and left with Ingress two days ago." She said. She shrank from the Marquis' glare. "I'm sorry. It's just...if you complete your Trial and go back to London Below, I'll be alone again."
The Marquis just glared for a moment and then sighed. "Mouse, if I have to be here until my sins are absolved, you will have my company for a very VERY long time."
**And because this one came along with that earlier one**
Balthier just shook his head at Fran. He had seen men act like this before. It was usually before they took out a sword and started swinging at the person next to them, or turn it upon themselves.
"Come on..." Jack shouted out into the mist. "I know you're just DYING to do it. What will it be? Pictures? Voices? Some of those horrible little monsters that look like I gave him to them?! Or do you want to throw a bloated gagging fume-belching corpse at me? What is it? Come on! You've hit us with everything else, why hold back? Why aren't you DOING ANYTHING!?" He screamed out into the fog.
There was no reply but silence.
Jack turned to look at his companions. Fran almost gasped at the change in him. It looked as if something inside him had been punctured and the empty husk was all that was left. He didn't say it, but both of them knew that if they were to go any further into this place, they'd have to do it without Jack.
He was too frightened to move.

So true! (Also: awww, poor Anaesthesia.)
Oh, dear, yes, Silent Hill would be very bad indeed for Captain Jack Harkness. (But hooray for the Balthier-Fran-Jack trio!)
