Seriously, whenever they were trying to be serious and dramatic, I was laughing like a lunatic.

- Rose trying to sound Scottish! Hee! "No, really, don't do that."

- "Am I being rude again?" I LOVED THAT AND I DON'T KNOW WHY.

- I am oddly pleased with the fact that Queen Victoria was able to defend herself. MONARCHS WITH GUNS AWESOME.

- That was one sexy werewolf, huh? I think that every episode I'm going to find something Extremely Strange And Wrong to be attracted to.

- MAGICAL VANISHING ACCENT HOORAY.

- The Doctor licking the door! For reasons of which I am not quite sure and that are probably slightly alarming, I thought that was fantastic.

- Also, at first I wrote 'Ten' there instead of 'the Doctor'. I seem to have got into the habit of thinking of the Ninth Doctor as 'the Doctor' and the Tenth Doctor as 'Ten'. It's very difficult for me to remember that they're the same character, which is unfortunate. I like Ten, but he doesn't really feel like the Doctor to me.

- The Royal Family are werewolves! I love the way Doctor Who makes everything ridiculous.

- Torchwood was created to oppose the Doctor! I find that indescribably awesome for reasons unknown. Ooh, will there be a hugely angsty reunion with Jack and it'll be all tense and awkward and brilliant?

- Not one of the better episodes, I think - not really as much fun as usual, and a bit over-the-top when it was trying to be dramatic - but I still enjoyed it, and it still had plenty of the ridiculousness and manic running around that Doctor Who does so well.

EDIT: Oh, and regarding the eventual defeat of the werewolf: what was that?

Doctor: OBVIOUSLY WE USE THIS TELESCOPE AND THIS DIAMOND TO IMPALE THE WOLF WITH MOONLIGHT.
Wolf: OH NO MOONLIGHT OBVIOUSLY I MUST NOW DISSOLVE.
Doctor: OH I AM BRILLIANT.

This episode was a bit ooh-er for me. I enjoyed it very much and all, but yeah. Nine. Want Nine. I think it might be that Ten just isn't OLD enough to be Doctor-ish enough, you know? Plus, the ending what the hell? "Oh my, the DIAMOND. It all makes sense! You have a diamond that'll magically kill the werewolf because it contains lots of the liquid chemical badusplotusdeviceus! Now, Rose, help me reverse the polarity of the neutron flow and we will have a perfect deus ex machina", etc etc.

Also, yes. It was a bit ridiculous in the not-so-good kind of a way. Aka, absolutely bizarre opening sequence which I was just waiting to be revealed as some random joke/gag type thing and then it NEVER HAPPENED. Doctor Who directors, please note - you are not the Wachowski brothers.

Very funny though, and lots of cuteness, I thought. Queen Victoria was ace! Oh, and could Rose have touched that kitchen maid girl any more? Nnngh.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought so! I laughed. XD And yeah, I was wondering wtf was up with the cameraman for most of the episode. ^^;

Yes, werewolf killing wtf. And I never quite understood the explanation for the werewolf in the first place.

I swear this show gets crackier with each consecutive episode.

Agreed that it wasn't the best episode; I enjoyed the last one far more. However, the Torchwood and the way everything is connected in obscure ways throughout the series is LOVE. Bad Wolf was win by itself, but now Torchwood has surfaced, like, everywhere and the references in the old eps before we even knew what it was is like duuuuuude.

ALSO! DID YOU HEAR? I bet you did, but I'm going to tell you anyway! =D There's been hintage by Barrowman that Jack will be back for the third season of Doctor Who! The producers are in trouble now, because once there's hintage, they're royally screwed if they don't follow through. XD

I love the references to old episodes and hints at future ones. That's one of the things I really like about Doctor Who: the way that, even though the stories are mostly seperate from each other, there are still all the links tying it together as a series.

I did hear that Jack would be back in the third series! However, all this stuff about Torchwood is starting to make me wonder whether he's going to return as a companion or as an antagonist. I never really doubted that he would go back to being a companion before, but now...

I thought it was like a laser gun for moonlight - with the telescope concentrating and amplifying the moonlight, and the diamond focusing it. ... oh well, makes as much sense as most SF.
And it's quite logical for Doctor Who (see 'Horror on Fang Rock' with Tom Baker and Louisa James as Leela).

(Moonlight it just reflected sunlight by the way - same frequencies as sunlight just greatly reduced. So it amplified moonlight would kill it - sunlight would be even better... oh, right werewolves are superstitions)
