Grab The Ball! Run! Throw! Tackle! MORNINGTON CRESCENT.

Glee is back! I am inordinately excited.

My reaction to episode 2.11 of Glee can be summed up in one line, and it is this:

omg Karofsky ♥

Karofsky Karofsky Karofsky you are my favourite. I am in love. I want a great big storyline in which Karofsky and Kurt make up.

(I initially typed 'make out' there. Whoops. There needs to be a lot of progression in their relationship before I'd be comfortable with them making out. But I do now feel that I could eventually accept it, as opposed to prior to this episode, when I felt that an actual Karofsky/Kurt relationship would be an awful thing to happen.

Still a Kurt/Blaine 'shipper, though. I - I think.)

also I am finding Karofsky weirdly attractive this has never happened before

But yes! This episode seemed specifically designed to make me grin as much as possible, despite including an awful lot of a sport that makes approximately as much sense as Mornington Crescent to me. FOR EXAMPLE:

- BEISTE SAYING 'YOU'RE NOT GONNA TRY AND KISS ME AGAIN, ARE YOU?' BEST THING EVER. (Beiste in general was wonderful in this episode.)
- BULLY FOOTBALL PLAYERS FORCED TO BE IN THE GLEE CLUB BEST THING EVER.
- KAROFSKY HITTING THE GUY WHO WAS TAPPING ALONG TO THE MUSIC BEST THING EVER.
- THE WARBLERS BEING MASSIVE DANCING DORKS BEST THING EVER.
- RACHEL AND MERCEDES AND BLAINE AND KURT ALL HAVING COFFEE TOGETHER BEST THING EVER although it could admittedly have been improved by the presence of Quinn and/or Pokémon.

And then Will asked Karofsky to stay behind and told him he was actually a good dancer and oh my heart my heart. Max Adler is such a wonderful actor! So many subtle emotions flitting across Karofsky's face throughout this entire episode. FORGET ABOUT ALL THE OTHER STORYLINES; I JUST WANT THE DAVE KAROFSKY GRADUAL REDEMPTION SHOW.

Well, that's one of the more unexpected instances of a character SLAMMING INTO MY HEART LIKE A BULLET. I could not have predicted this, but I am not complaining.

The ep definitely went a HUGE way to giving Karofsky some goddamned depth. The hockey team thing was silly, though. The Warblers and Blaine coming up with the ultimate solution due to his football fannishness was kind of a drop in, but a welcome one.

Gotta love Beiste. She makes me happy just appearing in the frame. Though my favorite Beiste moment remains the scene after Sue is made pricipal and she tells Beiste, who's in the middle of yelling at the team about proper use of athlete's foot spray, that she's killing the football program and without missing a beat Beiste says, 'well, who are your Cheerios gonna cheer for, Sue?" I love that Sue can't get one up on her. I love that she also doesn't want Will to kiss her again. I'd ship her with one of them but she can do so much better. Some adorably dorky science teacher?
