- What with the good-bad alteration in this series I was kind of expecting a letdown, but I actually really enjoyed this episode.

- Deus ex Doctor! That was a dreadful cliffhanger-resolver, seriously.

- Why can't the Doctor do that disintegratey-thing again? "OH DEAR I CAN ONLY DISINTEGRATE ALL THE CYBERMEN ONCE PER EPISODE."

- Jake/Ricky OTP. Seriously. Awww, Jake. Someone should give him a hug.
Wait, someone does! And that someone is Mickey! Seriously, those gleeful hugs of 'We just totally saved the day!' were freaking adorable. I think that everyone should write ten thousand Ricky/Jake/Mickey (or any combination) fics.

- OH YES. SEND THE TWO PEOPLE WITH THE BIGGEST EMOTIONAL CONNECTION TO JACKIE IN TO SAVE HER WHEN IT IS ESSENTIAL NOT TO BETRAY ANY EMOTION. THAT ISN'T STUPID AT ALL.

- Isn't it convenient that the Cybermen in that corridor woke up from the back, rather than simultaneously?

- What? You can't kill Jackie! That's not fair!

- YES. EMOTIONS MAKE CYBERMEN EXPLODE. DO NOT QUESTION THE WRITERS.

- NO MICKEY DON'T GO dammit I totally saw that coming ever since the whole reunion with his gran but DAMMIT. MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER IN THE CURRENT SERIES, AND I NEVER GET TO SEE HIM AGAIN. THIS IS SO NOT FAIR.

- Man, this is the worst day for Rose ever.

- The thing I really liked about this two-parter was that it made everyone love Mickey, when previously the poor thing had been incredibly unpopular. Of course, now he's gone, just as I was beginning to hope for more 'yay! Mickey!' reaction posts to future episodes.

- I am completely serious about the Ricky/Jake/Mickey thing. People need to write fanfics about those three. Ricky/Jake! Jake/Mickey! Ricky/Mickey! As a threesome! Whichever way you look at it, it is fantastic.

Watch me write about the episode as I watch it! =D So, here we go:

- This is, like, THE episode of omgcharacter relationships.

- Aw, fucker. But Ricky/Mickey was SO an OTP. And Rickey/Jake was zomgsubtext. And so Jake/Ricky/Mickey would have been total win. Damn.

- ...Jake is REALLY fucking sexy.

- Er... why would they kill Mrs. Moore and not the Doctor? Really, um.

- Rose likes hanging from zeppelins. The zeppelins have started to say to her (and me), "Look, we've got to stop meeting like this."

- Please can they bring Jake? Please!? Then we'll have an OT4 of Doctor/Rose/Mickey/Jake, and if Jack comes back it'll be an OT5! =D

- Pete not being able to handle the truth about Rose = part of what I love so damn much about this show. That was a realistic reaction, and brilliant in not falling into the trap of "omg everything is happy chocolate and bunnies endings yay!"

- ...Okay, okay, fine. But I was expecting that, and I can live with that ending. And I so, so, so, so want to write Jake/Mickey now. Totally my new OTP, not even kidding. And it's, like, not even a cracky strech pairing. <3

- Finally, next episode: evil televisions what the hell?
