It Was Beginning To Strain Our Friendship.

OH MY GOD TOP GEAR (I don't think the streaming works for people outside the UK, but the episode in question will probably be up until Saturday or so. Thank you, BBC, I love you and your forgiving ways when I miss something.)

THE CARAVAN TRIP

I AM DYING OF LAUGHTER

I love the presenters. I love them so much. They're such kids - I love how Jeremy Clarkson couldn't stop whining about the caravan trip, and in the episode with the car/light aircraft race Hammond was constantly complaining (although he did sometimes have cause to. "Er, I can't fly this plane at night. I'm not qualified." Fantastic).

MAY CRASHED THE CARAVAN INTO A PILLAR. OH I DO LOVE IT SO WHEN THEY MAKE A SCENE. MAY CRASHED THE CARAVAN INTO A PILLAR AND THEY HELD UP HUGE NUMBERS OF CARS AND THEN THEY REACHED THE SITE AND THAT WOMAN KIDNAPPED HAMMOND AND MAY DROVE THE CARAVAN INTO SOMEONE ELSE'S TENT AND I NEARLY CHOKED TO DEATH.

AND THEN THEY SET THE WHOLE THING ON FIRE

IT WAS GLORIOUS

Seriously, even if you don't have the slightest clue about or interest in cars (I certainly don't), you shouldn't immediately dismiss Top Gear. It pretends to be about cars, but it isn't really. I promise you that. Do you honestly think that a show that pits a Cyberman and a Dalek against each other in a race, attempts to break the caravan speed record by dropping it from a crane and forces the presenters to compete against each other at driving into a wall (losing ten points for death, five for each broken bone) is really about the cars?

Also, I feel I should put this to the vote: Clarkson/Hammond, or Hammond/May and Clarkson/car, or Clarkson/Hammond/May, or 'you are clearly a lunatic, nobody in their right mind would even consider these questions'?

haha re: fictional hospital! XD

I did indeed go to King's ^_^ What did you want to apply for?

'Enjoy' is an extremely ambiguous and relative verb!

Did I enjoy it compared to being a dropout on the dole? Yes. Did I enjoy it more than sleeping in in the morning? No. Did I enjoy it more than I enjoy walking across Waterloo Bridge at night? No. Did I enjoy it more than I enjoyed A Level Chemistry? Yes. Did I enjoy it more than the paperfest of Mr. Wootton's history lessons? NEVAH.

On the other hand, I extremely much am enjoying Fruits Basket. GIRLY MANGA AHOY. Also, it is my birthday today!

*cry*

PS - why the fictional hospital? ^_^ x infinity!
