Heracles would indeed be more accurate for Ancient Greece! Although Atlantis does not seem tremendously concerned with accuracy. The Roman name generally seems more popular, so I can understand why they went with it; almost everyone has heard of Hercules, but some viewers might not have realised who he was if he'd introduced himself as Heracles.
