It can’t be Kokichi, surely? This chapter has been the equivalent of him dancing around covered in blood and screaming “LOOK, GUYS, I KILLED SOMEONE”.
I was also thinking this! I suppose it makes sense that in the end he turned out to be behind the murder and yet not technically the culprit.
The varied investigative partners are a nice touch! I'm curious to see who'll help us out in Chapter Five, if we get another new assistant.
The 'world loops' Hangman's Gambit was a
nightmare
. I ended up writing the potential letters down on a piece of paper and trying to work it out there.
Poor, poor Gonta. And, yes, poor me! I'm very distressed by the current state of affairs.
