"Who Are You?" "Whoctor Do." Not Quite So Dramatic, Is It?
Well, of course I pay attention to Suzie and develop a quite severe case of liking her on the rewatching. It's as if my mind goes "A CHARACTER HAS DIED AND YOU WEREN'T ATTACHED ENOUGH TO HER? LOOK, NOW I WILL PICK OUT ALL THE AWESOME THINGS ABOUT HER AND MAKE YOU DISTRESSED."
But seriously! She gives a little wave when they're going up on the paving-stone lift, and it's a really lovely little detail. And then there's "Um, well, of course I can't - I can't use it now, because - you're going to put up a fight, so, um, sorry, wait a moment, sorry - " I mean, it's just the most adorably awkward murder attempt ever.
Some people have been speculating on whether we may see her again. I do hope we do.
ALSO, RHYS IS ADORABLE. WHEN HE FINDS GWEN ASLEEP IN FRONT OF THE COMPUTER HE BRINGS HER COFFEE AND IT IS ADORABLE. AND HE COOKS FOR HER AND HE TEASES HER AND HE IS GENERALLY CHARMING IN A SLIGHTLY CLUMSY WAY. He still does not measure up to Mickey in my affections, but there is time. There will always be a place in my heart for the lovely, ordinary boyfriend who gets left behind.
Although Jack's "Yeah, well, your boyfriend's stupid" did make me giggle quite a bit.
In other news, I am beginning to find the concept of Jeremy Clarkson/Bugatti Veyron disturbingly hot. Finding it even plausible (which it blatantly is) is bad enough, but hot really is enough to make me fear for my sanity.
For those who are unfamiliar with these two: Jeremy Clarkson is a forty-six-year-old man who I find more attractive than I should. The Bugatti Veyron is a car.
I think I might cry.
