While browsing YouTube, I stumbled across this. It is a short collection of outtakes involving Jeremy being the least professional presenter in the world, and it is marvellous.

I love the Top Gear team so much. I love that they go to Iceland with the intention of deciding what the best convertible is and eventually, instead of actually reaching a verdict on the cars, reach the verdict that they are useless presenters. I love that, when they're acting as roadies for The Who, Jeremy can't lift the amps and the cameramen laugh at him, and they barely talk about the vans they're supposed to be reviewing at all, and eventually they stutter out the most useless verdict in the world (which is basically 'er, if you want a van, buy the sort of van you want') and stare at their feet in shame. I love that everything they attempt ends up on fire. The three of them are so incompetent and it is wonderful.

Also, gayjunglefever has come up with a rather ingenious meme in which people write a one-sentence fic based on the icon of the person they're replying to. It's only just started, but I think it could be a lot of fun. You can find it over here.

I love them for all those reasons too. Well, not the Iceland one, but that's only because I haven't seen that episode yet.

It's not the best of their videos - in the episode after this, they became very embarrassed, apologised for boring everyone and said they'd forced Hammond to go back to Iceland and not come back until he'd filmed something better - but it's still worth watching.

Also, maybe people could write what the fandom is of their icon somewhere? Some of 'em look like maybe I know the fandom a bit, but I can't quite tell from the icon what exactly it is. Just an idea. Also because I'm curious and don't know what everything that went so far is at all. ;)
