The Mulder/Scully dynamic is so unique, even though it paved the way for all those other stoic woman/weirdo man procedural pairings, because they go from zero to 100 in their relationship in pretty much the first episode without any explicit romance.

They really do! It's absolutely fascinating. I still can't believe they'd been working together for one or two days before Scully stripped in front of him without explanation and Mulder went 'well, this seems normal'.
