I think David Tennant is just wonderful this year - which has sort of made me realise that I wasn't that wildly keen on him with *Rose*. I adored 'The Shakespeare Code' - Shakespeare as companion is deliciously insane.

And Doctor/Martha/Shakespeare *so* needs writing but (as a friend pointed out) this should happen only after Will has been introduced to the notion of dental hygiene. (And I don't think the hygiene/safety should stop dentally, either, if you get my drift! There were some nasty communicable diseases around back then! Yes, I know - way to spoil the mood. And Jack Sparrow's (lack of) hygiene never seems to put anyone off!)
