I Saw The Plough In The Sky, And Then This Happened.
You're singing along to a song, but the chorus is out of your range.
I switch octaves for the chorus; I pitch my voice lower or higher so I can continue singing. I generally find this easy to do.
25 (53.2%)
I try to switch octaves, but I generally find it tricky.

I try to sing along with the original notes, even though I know I can't hit them.
15 (31.9%)
I just don't sing the chorus.
1 (2.1%)
I have no sense of pitch and probably don't even notice it's out of my range.
6 (12.8%)
I stop playing the song and throw my music-playing device out of the window in a rage.
1 (2.1%)
I don't really sing along to songs.
2 (4.3%)
Something else?
6 (12.8%)
If you do something else, what is it?

What's your overall favourite constellation, if it isn't in that list (and assuming you have a favourite constellation at all)?
Tell me a fictional character you're currently weird about and the way in which you're weird about them. (Feel free to define 'being weird about a fictional character' in whatever way you choose.)

And my favorite constellation is Orion because it is the only constellation I can reliably identify. đ I love astronomy, but I am not a skilled observer.

Regarding your Sam Carter answer: I've actually been rewatching the first season of Stargate SG-1 off and on recently! This was possibly a mistake. These characters are so good, but they're trapped in such a bad show!

Stargate: SG1 definitely has its moments, and I am forever grateful to it for being a longtime fannish home, but it sure does have a lot of moments which are really not its moments. But a whole bunch of its characters live in my head rent-free, and they're welcome to stay as long as they like.
(Disconcertingly, recently they've been teaming up with an extraordinarily AU'd Jack Harkness who sometimes turns into a demon, and who is also busily misleading everyone around him into thinking he's a perfectly normal 30-something civilian who just happens to not be able to die because of some alien stuff. It's... kinda both more creepy and more adorable than it has any right to be? Come to think of it, I may also be currently weird about Jack Harkness, but a version of Jack Harkness who's been filtered through one massively multifandom AU into a massively multifandom LiveJournal RPG and out into a third significantly less multifandom AU. It's AU turtles all the way down.)

I am very curious about your non-answer to the fictional character question.

Well right now I am all about a young man named Yoru from an explicit BL oneshot and I expended a lot of my social capacity promoting it for an exchange, so I did not want to do it again. Apologies for the vaguing on your poll, though! That was a bit rude of me.

Orion is my favorite constellation. My mom would point it out to me when I was little.

Aww, this is lovely! I think the Plough is probably my favourite largely because it was the first one I learnt to identify.

Probably outraged, to be honest. He'd feel patronised by the fact that I'm proud of him. What right do I have to be proud of him, like a parent or teacher or equal? I should respect and fear him, as should the rest of the world.
sadly based on what little I do know I don't think he's the kind of murderer who'd be fixed by someone being proud of him. Which I guess is fortunate for you, a person who likes their characters wildly dysfunctional.
I smiled pretty hard at this.
Your Judas Iscariot answer is incredible and, to be honest, does make him sound compelling!

My first thought was Mark Corrigan of Peep Show, who definitely does some crazy dancing; are you sure it's not that Mark? Which Mark were you thinking of?
no subject
The answer is definitely not Cepheus, though—! As that little jerk cost me a mark on an astronomy quiz a few months ago.
And I was thinking of Mark from Persona 1!

Henceforth, I will hold a grudge against Cepheus in your honour.

I just realized how weird it must be on dreamwidth to have a complete stranger participating in your poll. I am sorry!
I was browsing the Explore page and stumbled upon your blog. I wasn't thinking I just immediately filled out the poll because I am used to public/shareable poll posts on tumblr and twitter. I did not realize how the culture in dreamwidth might be different from those social media sites. Sorry again!
