More of The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy! I have now completed the route full of bees.



Tem and I never get tired of saying 'beemoanima' when the hemoanima-enhanced bees crop up.

I was not expecting Tsubasa and Darumi to make out! Incredible. This entire route is basically us slowly accumulating a polycule.

I'm also delighted by Yugamu proposing that we 'show the girls a real kiss'. Stop resisting, Takumi!

The 'Escaping Our Fate' ending is devastating, holy shit.

'You can just call me Darumi the Cuckoldmaker!' This game is incredible.

I'm enjoying Takumi furiously punishing himself over killing people. 'If I let myself forget what it felt like... I'm sure I'll just end up doing it again.'

I'm delighted by Takumi, Tsubasa, Yugamu and Darumi all planning to live together after the war, knowing they won't be able to readjust to their previous lives! This is so cute.

Tem and I both exclaimed 'oh, my God' simultaneously when Eito revealed he was from a parallel universe. This game is so fucking stupid. What a masterpiece.

Is Eito from another in-game route??

I'm glad Tsubasa gets her turn to do a murder, truly cementing her place in the murder polycule.

Doesn't feel great to be presented with the decision 'Kill the Baby?' and choose 'yes', but better to die powering our escape than enabling a genocide. I feel the characters in this game often pay too little attention to the fact that the baby is going to kill everyone on the planet on day 100.

I'm very charmed by Tsubasa and Yugamu each holding one of Takumi's hands to reassure him that they still support him post-baby-murder.

The baby-killing route did not go well.

Tem: It's almost like killing the baby was a bad idea.
Riona: But that baby was going to commit a genocide!
Ginger: It's going to be hard for me to explain that if I ever go back in time to 1889.

I'm glad there's a route in which we might actually manage to achieve our dream of living together! What great weird kids.

I'm also glad that, even if Takumi persistently fails to give in to Yugamu's unsettling flirting, he still really values his relationship with Yugamu. Their dynamic in this route has been an absolute delight.

Maybe they'll finally make out once they're established in the polycule house. I can dream.



Nineteen endings down; eighty-one to go! We have been playing this game for ninety hours.

The more I see of people talking about this game the more I know I wouldn't enjoy it, but damn is your experience fun to watch.

Absolutely! Nearly two hours of entertainment per pound, so far, and there's still so much left to go. (The best value for money I've ever got out of a videogame was Persona 5; I paid ten quid for it, and it took me 140 hours to finish.)
