The most convenient mysterious man would probably be Joe. But sending someone you've met on several occasions, er, wouldn't be all that mysterious, really. And I'm not sure he'd be willing to ride from London to Brighton and back again just to satisfy the mad whim of a friend of mine. Also, I don't think he has a horse.
