Riona: Um, okay.
Riona's Mind: You've got seventeen fics up so far, okay? Three of them you'd written already; I consider that cheating, really, but that's not the point. The point is that all of your fics are the same.
Riona: ...they are? I mean, I know they're pretty much all angst, but -
Riona's Mind: Half of them are James encountering Pyramid Head, going 'argh' and running away. The other half are just about Maria and/or Mary dying.
Riona: ...to be fair, Pyramid Head is scary, and Maria and Mary die an awful lot.
Riona's Mind: Regardless of that, I think you should - hey, look at the prompt table! Look at the pattern of links on it! Hee hee hee!
Riona: ...what?
Riona's Mind: The links to the stories on the prompt table almost form a symmetrical pattern! Oh, that's fantastic.
Riona: You're not going to suggest that I -
Riona's Mind: You bet I am. Now you can only write fics for prompts that will add to the symmetry.
Riona: I really can't -
Riona's Mind: The prompt you'll need to fulfil in order to perfect the symmetry across the second colour row is 'brown'. Get to it!
Riona: But I don't know how -
Riona's Mind: Mary's hair is brown. Duh.
Riona: Oh yes, I'm sure a fic about Mary's hair would be both possible and riveting.
Riona's Mind: THE SYMMETRY MUST BE PRESERVED.
Riona: I really, really hate you.
