Incoherent Flailing. (You Know, As Opposed To Coherent Flailing.)

YOU GUYS. I AM NOT SURE I HAVE EVER BEEN SO THRILLED.

You remember the silly Jared-being-possessed-by-Sam fic I posted a couple of days ago? Well, mercuriazs asked whether she could record a podfic version of it, and I very nearly fell out of a window in delighted shock and said YES, YES, OF COURSE YOU MAY, and she did, and it is brilliant. The way she mimics Jensen's voice! The way she delivers lines! Plus she is a real live American, and I always sort of think in a British accent, so it is terribly exciting for me to hear my writing for an American fandom in the voice in which it should be heard.

The reading is about twenty-three minutes long; there are some tapping noises at the beginning, but they clear up within forty seconds. Here are the download links:

Oh my god, I just downloaded and listened to the whole thing and I seriously nearly wet myself. LOVE, SO MUCH LOVE. This is brilliance. Utter, utter, cracky wonderfulness.
This was the first podfic I've ever listened to, and now I clearly need to listen to more.

It was the first time I'd listened to a podfic, too, and my reaction was essentially 'I MUST FIND MORE OF THESE'. It is such an excellent idea!

Hey, have you ever gotten into a "If you were someone off Top Gear, who would you be?" conversation with your family? Because I just did. My dad's Jeremy Clarkson, my mom's Richard Hammond (although she has James May's taste in cars, she got strangely offended at the prospect of being called James May), and I'm apparently the Stig.

Which is awesome.

Well, when dracothelizard and th_esaurus were staying with me, we concluded that my brother (Joseph) was the Stig. This was largely because he was mysteriously absent most of the time while they were there and neither of them knew anything about him, though.
