And Also Some Other Things Happened.

YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO MAKE ME CRY, TORCHWOOD

YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE RUBBISH

I'M SUPPOSED TO MOCK YOU

I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE ANY ACTUAL EMOTIONAL INVESTMENT

ajghjgdahfjafhgh why why why would you do this to me

On the one hand, I am sort of glad that, if Ianto had to die (and, er, it really doesn't look as if Torchwood has a future, does it?), it was after Torchwood became good, so I could really care about it. On the other, adjghjadjgjfghh crying.

(Although I was immensely distressed during the actual dying scene, I didn't actually start sobbing until Gwen was looking at his body and Jack put his arm around her and I can't even be coherent right now. Torchwood, you absolute bastard of a show, you clearly became good just so you could get me emotionally invested and then hit me with that.)

OH, AND TORCHWOOD WERE BEING SO AWESOME JUST BEFORE, and of course I thought 'well, this all seems to be going a little too smoothly, obviously something is going to go wrong, there's still one episode left', but I wasn't expecting them to freaking kill Ianto. (Possibly also because there was still one episode left.)

I never really 'shipped Jack/Ianto that much. Of course it had to creep up on me now.

Were - were there other things in that episode?

Well, there was confirmation that the 456 is a mutated Doduo Dodrio, but oh, all right, I am so distressed by Ianto's death that I cannot even think about silly Pokémon crossovers. (That really is a sign that something's wrong.)

The lack of Pokémon crossovers means, of course, that this entry has nothing to distinguish it from the hordes of no doubt identical posts all over your flist right now, but I need to post it anyway.

IANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Have you considered the amazing power of denial?

(I wants to read this: it sounds like pure crack.)

I'll probably never write it. I started brainstorming it with my cousin on a bus trip- what, five years ago? four? just after the DW series one finale- and wrote down little snippents of it for kicks.

The only part I remember is where Mr. Serling appears on the TARDIS to warn the Doctor that he's entering the ~Twilight Zone~. Rod Serling=Time Lord. The door in the opening is in fact the door to his TARDIS.

Also, because of the space break, the above comment looks like it says Twilight is involved with this crossover. I may have to find a way for it to mock Twilight now. ("You're from the Twilight Zone? Is it filled with ~vampires~?")
