Forget The Shooty Dog Thing.

- As seems to be a theme in this series, utterly ridiculous opening! "No parents? Nobody to miss you... Come into my office, you poor thin child." *CHOMP*

- ...I'm probably a bad person for laughing so much at that, aren't I?

- The Headmaster moved in a very stiff, non-human way, which I thought was quite clever. He generally rocked, really.

- I wanted to hit the Doctor when he said 'Correctamundo!', but then he redeemed himself with '...a word I have never said before and hopefully never will again'. Hee!

- I laughed far too hard at the dramatic shots of all those kids sitting in front of the green screens, possibly because I thought at first that it was some kind of teaching program that was making them so incredibly smart, and so the dramatic music had me cracking up. "OH NO! THEY'RE LEARNING!"

- DRAMATIC SKEWED SHOTS OF THE SCHOOL BWAHAHAHA look I'm sorry I find odd things hilarious.

- I loved loved loved the Doctor mocking Mickey for screaming at the rats, because it's the only moment so far at which I've actually thought yes, that is the Ninth Doctor. As I said earlier, I've been having trouble actually thinking of the Ninth and Tenth Doctors as being the same person; at that point, I had no doubt of it. "Nine years old, maybe ten. I'm seeing pigtails. Frilly skirt." Also, "It was dark! I was covered in rats!" and the way that Mickey put his hand to the back of his head when the Doctor mentioned pigtails cracked me up. Oh, Mickey, I love you.

- OMG HEADMASTER/DOCTOR OTP why yes I am going to find a different ridiculous pairing for every episode.

- Oh, okay, so we're not immortal and it's all Sarah Jane Smith's fault. Thanks a lot. As my brother Joseph pointed out, "they're not really evil, apart from eating people, are they?"

- I'm getting a little tired of the Doctor and Rose being all "I'M SO IN LOVE WITH YOU I'LL BE FOREVER BLUE." There's no proper tension any more! The pairing is rapidly losing my interest!

- "Forget the shooty dog thing." Hee!

- ...I actually do want Headmaster/Doctor fic. Something is clearly seriously wrong with me.

- Mickey got to be a hero! I love him so much. And he's a companion now and yay!

- Oh no sudden insane panic! Mickey says that he's the tin dog of the team, and then later in the episode K-9 sacrifices himself, and oh no if Mickey dies I will cry. (But if Mickey dies and then the Doctor builds a new model of him I will laugh myself to death.)

- The moral of the story is that, if children are intelligent and enjoy learning, something sinister is clearly going on. Also that blowing up a school makes one a hero.

I thought the moral of the story was never to trust school dinners, personally.

As my brother Joseph pointed out, "they're not really evil, apart from eating people, are they?"

SJdfklsdjfkAHAhaAHAHAHAH omg can I ADOPT your little brother? Please?

I absolutely agree with this entire post. Stupid omgcanon!Doctor/Companion stuff. SUBTEXT, PEOPLE. NOT TEXT.

See, at one point in time, I might respond to this by saying "I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought of Headmaster/Doctor OTP!" but at this point I can pretty much figure that if I thought of it, you've certainly thought of it and possibly even of something else ten times worse. <3

Ditto on the intro. XD

I was about ready to hit the Doctor for saying "Physics" fifty BILLION times... and then I remembered having had teachers who actually do that. Especially on the first day. omg. I felt I had to give him credit for it after that.

Yes, the bit about the rats and the pigtails was WIN. Mickey = love. His expression, oh the poor boy. What did he do to deserve such convoluted expressions of love torment?
