- You see, the Doctor's always abandoning his companions, and here he has to stand and yell while both his companions walk away from him. I like that. It's not as grand a scale as his companion-abandonments, but I like the fact that people are leaving him for once.

- ...Mickey meeting his gran. Excuse me, I think I may have something in my eye. (LOVE HIM LOVE HIM LOVE HIM SO MUCH. Oh, Mickey. Heart.) I was also kind of touched by Rose's conversations with her alternate-parents. SHUT UP. SHUT UP. I'M EASILY AFFECTED BY THESE THINGS OKAY DON'T JUDGE ME.

- I really liked the way you could always tell Rickey and Mickey apart, even though they looked exactly the same, because of their behaviour and facial expressions. Mickey always looked terrified. Awww.

- I am oddly fond of Random "DO NOT GO INTO THE TRUCK" Rickey Sidekick Guy.

- Why did the Cybermen suddenly start deleting everyone?

- YOU CAN'T END IT THERE.

- ...okay, fine, apparently you can. BUT YOU CAN'T NOT HAVE A NEXT EPISODE PREVIEW.

- ...dammit, Doctor Who.

- Other things that you cannot do:
You can't kill Pete Tyler. Honestly, how many times can the man die?
You can't kill Jackie. You just can't.
You definitely can't kill Mickey. If you do, I am so never going to forgive you ever.
You also can't have Rickey die and Mickey stay behind in the parallel universe with his grandmother, because I have a horrible feeling that that might happen, and you can't take Mickey away from Doctor Who! You've already taken Jack from me, you can't take Mickey as well! NEVER YOU MIND IF MICKEY WOULD BE HAPPY WITH HER I AM SELFISH AND DO NOT WANT TO LOSE HIM.

- Because it bears saying again and again: MICKEY. MICKEY MICKEY MICKEY MICKEY. SO MUCH LOVE. I just want to give him one thousand hugs.

I loved the Mickey meets his gran scene, though I was a bit distracted because I just kept thinking It's Blossom from EastEnders!, LOL.

I am very worried for Mickey. If he dies (and I have no idea, as I'm avoiding spoilers like the plague as usual) I will break things. And write a very strongly worded letter of protest to RTD. A letter in which I will also mention that it was a pleasure to see a bit of shirtless!Mickey and that more of the same is much required. Yes.

Mickey and his gran and him saying his name is Rickey for her and oh, my heart is broken. Seriously, I was all, hands over my mouth to stop from whimpering or doing something equally embarrassing. I didn't think I could love Mickey as much as this. I even loved him when he was whining about being left behind, which I can usually give a miss, and oh, Mickey, I love you.

I seriously couldn't agree more. When he saw the carpet - oh, Mickey. It was so lovely and sad.

One of my favourite things about this episode is that everyone seems to love Mickey now. I was so sick of all the Mickey-bashing last year, and now everyone loves him! All is as it should be in the Universe!

Awww, I liked Mickey this week! I was sniveling away when he met his altenate gran! And when he met Rickey!!!! Haha!!

ZEPPELINS! OMG ZEPPELINS. Zeppelins are now really, REALLY awesome. Liek whoa. THAT MAKES THREE TIMES THEY'VE SHOWN UP IN SHOWS FOR NO APPARENT REASON. Yeah, twice was Doctor Who. IT STILL COUNTS FOR TWO. <3<3<3 omgwtfzeppelins.

Doctor forgetting Mickey at the beginning (the button thing) = oops that didn't make me grin.
Doctor semi-debating who to chase after - obviously it was going to be Rose, but he DID hesitate because of Mickey rather than just bolting off as though Mickey weren't even there = I'm sensing improvement in the Doctor-Mickey relationship? plz?

Plus, Mickey having his own plans when Rose insisted on leaving was LOVE. "Well, you don't know nothin' about me, do ya?" OH, MICKEY. <3<3<3 And he looked positively SMUG about this - GOOD. For once the Doctor almost cared about Mickey, and for once Mickey was like, "Yeah, this is how you've been treating me, and this is what I'm gonna do about it." The "Yeah, if I haven't found someone better," line made me go "Yay Mickey!" and "Aw, Mickey! *hugs*" at the same time.

...I like his tattoo. XD

Thoughts for next episode:

-I am worried that Jackie might die. However, I don't think she will, because Rose obviously has to show her parents how they are OMGsupposedtobetogether and then everyone's all happy. However again, this makes me concerned that Pete might die. He might die proving his love for Jackie. Or something. (Did you hear how he yelled for her as soon as the cybermen were like OMGKILL? He totally did.)

-I am even more worried that Ricky might die. That would be totally uncool ~~because duplicate/twin OTPs are win~~.

I'd be pretty impressed if Pete guessed who Rose was. Guessing that the girl with his baby daughter's name who saved his life was his daughter from the future was impressive enough, but guessing that the waitress with his dog's name is his daughter from a parallel universe? Er, I'm thinking probably not.

Well, seeing as they were two completely different and unconnected OMGZEPPELIN moments, I certainly do think that they count.

On a completely random note, I heard that Rickey and Random Rickey Sidekick Guy (who is called Jake, I think) were supposed to be a couple, but they ended up stripping out the overt references to it. Maybe there'll be something about it in the second part, though? Interesting.

And yes, I'm worried about Jackie dying. That could cause some pretty huge conflict for Rose, because she's justifying her return to her own universe by saying that Alternate!Jackie and Pete have each other, but her mother only has her. If Jackie dies in this universe, though, Pete will be alone.
