- Something exploded and landed them in a parallel universe! That is exactly what happened in one of my fanfics. I AM OBVIOUSLY PSYCHIC.

eva_kasumi? OMG OMG OMG ZEPPELINS. AGAIN. (But why was there no Captain Jack reference? That's two episodes in a row with the perfect opportunity to mention Captain Jack BUT NO MENTION OF CAPTAIN JACK. SOMEONE TALK ABOUT CAPTAIN JACK. ON SECOND THOUGHTS, HAVE CAPTAIN JACK ACTUALLY SHOW UP. AND SHAG ROSE AND THE DOCTOR. AND MICKEY. AND RICKEY. AT THE SAME TIME.)- I MISS PETE TYLER'S HAIR. ALAS AND ALACK.
- You see, the Doctor's always abandoning his companions, and here he has to stand and yell while both his companions walk away from him. I like that. It's not as grand a scale as his companion-abandonments, but I like the fact that people are leaving him for once.
- ...Mickey meeting his gran. Excuse me, I think I may have something in my eye. (LOVE HIM LOVE HIM LOVE HIM SO MUCH. Oh, Mickey. Heart.) I was also kind of touched by Rose's conversations with her alternate-parents. SHUT UP. SHUT UP. I'M EASILY AFFECTED BY THESE THINGS OKAY DON'T JUDGE ME.
- I really liked the way you could always tell Rickey and Mickey apart, even though they looked exactly the same, because of their behaviour and facial expressions. Mickey always looked terrified. Awww.
- I am oddly fond of Random "DO NOT GO INTO THE TRUCK" Rickey Sidekick Guy.
- Why did the Cybermen suddenly start deleting everyone?
- YOU CAN'T END IT THERE.
- ...okay, fine, apparently you can. BUT YOU CAN'T NOT HAVE A NEXT EPISODE PREVIEW.
- ...dammit, Doctor Who.
- Other things that you cannot do:
You can't kill Pete Tyler. Honestly, how many times can the man die?
You can't kill Jackie. You just can't.
You definitely can't kill Mickey. If you do, I am so never going to forgive you ever.
You also can't have Rickey die and Mickey stay behind in the parallel universe with his grandmother, because I have a horrible feeling that that might happen, and you can't take Mickey away from Doctor Who! You've already taken Jack from me, you can't take Mickey as well! NEVER YOU MIND IF MICKEY WOULD BE HAPPY WITH HER I AM SELFISH AND DO NOT WANT TO LOSE HIM.
- Because it bears saying again and again: MICKEY. MICKEY MICKEY MICKEY MICKEY. SO MUCH LOVE. I just want to give him one thousand hugs.
EDIT: OKAY SOMEONE HAS TO WRITE RICKEY/MICKEY OR I WILL DIE.

Doctor forgetting Mickey at the beginning (the button thing) = oops that didn't make me grin.
Doctor semi-debating who to chase after - obviously it was going to be Rose, but he DID hesitate because of Mickey rather than just bolting off as though Mickey weren't even there = I'm sensing improvement in the Doctor-Mickey relationship? plz?
Doctor snickering at Rose the Dog = oops that made me grin.

Plus, Mickey having his own plans when Rose insisted on leaving was LOVE. "Well, you don't know nothin' about me, do ya?" OH, MICKEY. <3<3<3 And he looked positively SMUG about this - GOOD. For once the Doctor almost cared about Mickey, and for once Mickey was like, "Yeah, this is how you've been treating me, and this is what I'm gonna do about it." The "Yeah, if I haven't found someone better," line made me go "Yay Mickey!" and "Aw, Mickey! *hugs*" at the same time.
...I like his tattoo. XD
Music for Bad Happenings as Ordered by Mad Scientists on Zeppelins = HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. XDDD Almost as much awesome as the lost earth ballad on the i-pod. <3
Ricky has anger management issues. He didn't even think Mickey's snark was funny. :(

Thoughts for next episode:
-I am worried that Jackie might die. However, I don't think she will, because Rose obviously has to show her parents how they are OMGsupposedtobetogether and then everyone's all happy. However again, this makes me concerned that Pete might die. He might die proving his love for Jackie. Or something. (Did you hear how he yelled for her as soon as the cybermen were like OMGKILL? He totally did.)
-I am even more worried that Ricky might die. That would be totally uncool

On a completely random note, I heard that Rickey and Random Rickey Sidekick Guy (who is called Jake, I think) were supposed to be a couple, but they ended up stripping out the overt references to it. Maybe there'll be something about it in the second part, though? Interesting.
