Okay, first the good news: thegreatesthits, who is pretty much my favourite person in the world right now, has updated her Scrubs/Doctor Who crossover.

It is so wonderful. Which is good, because I needed something to distract me from my Season Five finale-induced rage.

Good things about the two-part Scrubs Season Five finale: It made me realise how much I needed an icon of angry!Dr. Cox.

Bad things: SCRUBS IS WHAT I RELY ON TO MAKE ME HAPPY AND SHOULD SO NOT INSPIRE THE BURNING NEED FOR AN ANGRY ICON.



Okay, I'm not a complete tyrant when it comes to my OTPs. My policies are basically as follows:

- Take a look at the relationship between JD and Dr. Cox. This is my OTP - I love this dynamic. Don't do anything to screw it up. This also means that I'd rather you didn't get between them, thanks.

- Well, okay, you're allowed to have a relationship with one of them, but it's got to be short-lived.

- ...okay, you can have a more important or long-term relationship with one of them, but only if you are sufficiently awesome and do not get completely in the way. Jordan, you are awesome. Ben, you are definitely awesome.

- Kim, you are not. Something about you really rubs me the wrong way, and I'm very much hoping that your relationship with JD is going to fall apart, but as it started in a season finale - and you're, you know, pregnant, and it could be his child - I'm really kind of worried. (Somewhere around here this stops being my policies on OTPs and becomes ranting about Kim.)

- BEING SUPERIMPOSED ONTO BEN'S FUNERAL IS A SUREFIRE WAY TO PISS ME OFF. You do not use that scene for a joke.

- ALSO YOU DO NOT CORRECT THE BACKWARDS X-RAY IN THE OPENING SEQUENCE. You've only just arrived, what right do you have to change important things?

- ALSO ALSO YOU DO NOT, UM, BE LOVED BY EVERYONE. Applause for Dr. Cox for not falling completely under her alarmingly Mary Sue-ish spell.

- So yes, you do not just waltz in, RETROACTIVELY CHANGE BEN'S FUNERAL, impose yourself on the opening sequence, make everyone adore you, become JD's love interest and get pregnant with what may be his child (I'm hoping that if I keep adding the 'maybe it's his child', the doubt will become real, because I seriously do not want it to be JD's baby. I'm bothered by the idea of JD becoming a father as well as the mother being Kim). That's an awful lot of ways to make me very angry in an awfully short amount of time.

- Seriously, the thought of her becoming a regular makes me bristle. If she does, I'm really worried that I just won't enjoy Scrubs as much any more.

- Also: THREE PREGNANCIES WHAT? Er, isn't this just a bit much?

I HAVE ONLY SEEN 'MY TRANSITION (2)' AND SO I DO NOT KNOW WHO SHE IS BUT I DO NOT LIKE HER AND HAVE EQUAL ANGER. I heard she's going to be a regular for at least part of next season. That pisses me off.

Bill Lawrence said in some article or interview that he thought all the babies would make for all these wacky moments. I'm sorry, but Scrubs doesn't NEED any more of those. I've always admired it's ability to be somewhat wacky with it's humor one minute and then very subtle with it but still very funny the next.

And dude...BABIES. FOR EVERYONE. Like the 7th Heaven finale, wihout TWINS! TWINS FOR ALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!
