Would 'How Hard Can It Be?' Be Tempting Fate?
Well, tomorrow I set off for the Netherlands, hopefully to return on Saturday. I've never ventured out of the country on my own before - in fact, I've barely been out of London unaccompanied - and I am, to be perfectly honest, absolutely terrified. My family seems to have a bit of a knack for attracting holiday-related disaster; we were kicked out of the last villa we stayed in, and the water tank in the one before that exploded in a rather spectacular fashion and ejected its contents through the roof. I just have to hope that I'm not going to manage to blow up
dracothelizard's residence.
(I have to warn you, Draco, that I am exceptionally bad at a) making conversation and b) holidaying, and may very well drive you absolutely mad before the week is out, provided I ever actually see you and am not stranded in the middle of nowhere by my general hopelessness at c) travelling.)
If you turn on the news and hear '...the Dutch madwoman is refusing to return the kidnapped girl to her family until she is given unfettered access to the Labradoodle from popular programme Top Gear', that's us! We'll wave to the camera for you.
(EDIT: Also, when did Cameron stop being lovely? Seriously, House writers, what's happened to her in Series Three?)
(EDIT II: RETURN OF THE EDIT: Also also, I think I like Martha. Which is good. I also liked the random nameless well-spoken young doctor who was trying to keep everyone calm, and had interesting thoughts at the 'I love my sonic screwdriver!' line, because
personobjectotp has clearly corrupted me for ever.
Oh, and the Stig is evil!)

I liked the random pretty doctor person, too. Though I was extremely surprised he didn't die.

I think I just won. =D

PS I was intrigued by the young doctor, too - he was focused on to some extent without dying, and then we heard him on the radio talking about Mister Saxon, so I can't help but wonder if he'll come back as a baddie or something. Hmm.

You know, you really shouldn't give me ideas. Besides, wouldn't holding a Zonda or Veyron for ransom work better? Although I suppose you'd be in it for the chance to meet Clarkson.
And hurrah for calm doctor! He'll do well. *pets him*
Also, if you DO manage to somehow blow up the entire studenty flat, well, I have been thinking about moving anyway!
And as my mother already pointed out, I'm not always terribly good with having people around me a lot, but I have survived holidaying with a group of friends without killing them, so I'm sure I won't kill you.
"fanfiction about Jeremy getting pregnant with James' vampire child."
I WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT. I don't think vampires can have sex anyway.

It is reassuring to know that I will probably not be killed! And also that we are unlikely to end up writing vampire mpreg.

Vampires, maybe, but I'm drawing the line at pregnancy! Do we REALLY want to put Vampire!James through the ordeal of pregnant!Jeremy? No, no, we don't.

I was so heartbroken when he died.

...Doctor/Sonic Screwdriver ARGH.

(Cameron was never lovely :P)

(LIES. Cameron was lovely and sweet until she became an insane manipulative nymphomaniac! I miss the Cameron of Series Two.)

(But she's such fun as the insane manipulative nymphomanic. Every episode is like a game of 'guess what wacky things Cameron will be up to next!')

Also, Cameron stops being lovely? I haven't seen very much of Season Three...nooo!
I think I had similar thoughts regarding Doctor Who. Martha seems wonderful, and I hope the lovely doctor returns, and um, yes, there was Doctor/Sonic Screwdriver, wasn't there?
No, the Stig is not evil! He just has two evil triplets! He is the good one, yes.

(Seriously. If I wake up in Silent Hill or something, you are so getting a letter
from your dead wifefrom Jeremy Clarksonfrom someone important to you. I WILL HAVE JUSTICE.no subject
I agree with you on Cameron. She was sweet in S1, and then got a bit... weird in S2. And now I'm just like, "... WTF. What happened to your lovely character?"
... She and Chase = No. Sorry. No romantic attraction and it just doesn't seem like the two of them mesh in the show. Sure, they're engaged in real life. Their characters do not work, at least not in my eyes.
Uh. Hi! I meant to just pop in and say I agree with you on Cameron and you get a rant. I'm not usually this ranty. I'm always this babbly. But not this ranty.
