Just under a fortnight ago, I begged you all to prevent me from creating a Silent Hill website.

Please don't let me create this. I do not have the time or the psychological resilience to build an online replica of Silent Hill. I beg someone to steal this idea from me so I no longer have it in my hands.

None of you rescued me. Here is a selection of the responses:

I have never played a Silent Hill (only osmosed bits and pieces from people who loved them), but I am enjoying this website! The enablers were right!!

Most of my Silent Hill experience is through Internet osmosis (I tried to play one of the games on the Playstation and got scared by some ghost children IDEK, never touched it after that) so this has been enjoyable to go through.

I am sorry you were betrayed by the very people you trusted to stop you, though. (Maybe you could have a Silent Hill game about that experience? I don't know enough about Silent Hill to know if that would be a useful form of catharsis or just a Bad Idea.)

I've not played a single Silent Hill game, only learned about them through internet osmosis, but as with your FF8 site, I love this so much. so fun to explore and interesting to read!
