Boom Boom Boom Boom, Please Get Out Of My Room.

More of The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy! I've finished the cult route and taken a brief detour back to the Coming-of-Age route.

Heads-up: this entry mentions (fictional) consent issues, to put it mildly.

What level of war crime are you on when you brainwash a prisoner of war into killing her people, then double brainwash her by drugging yourself into having such irresistible pheromones that she forces you to eat cake off her nude body?

Of interest: when Takumi starts actively choosing who gets reward 'dates' with him, he first chooses Kako and Ima, which very much suggests to me that he's bisexual. Or that he recognises that Ima will kill everyone in the school if Takumi dates Kako without him, of course. But the protagonists of Danganronpa V3, Zanki Zero and Master Detective Archives: Rain Code were all pretty clearly bisexual, and Takumi had some interesting emotions about watching fireworks with Eito, so I'm leaning towards bisexuality.

Yugamu, Takumi said 'no dissections or operations'. He didn't specify who you weren't supposed to dissect or operate on. I think hornily cutting yourself open in front of him is still a violation of his request, even if you're not dissecting him specifically.

The 'Living Idol' ending is fucked up! It's fucked up!! What the fuck???

When I attempted to describe this ending to Rei:

Riona: Our friends, who are all in love with us, tricked us into taking a drug that rendered us immobile but still conscious; they're just planning to keep us that way forever as their perfect helpless figurehead. And then they beat our childhood friend to death in front of us. And then our evil boyfriend fucked us.
Rei: You mean he fucked you in-game?
Riona: ??? No; he came out of the screen and fucked me and Tem.

(It turned out that Rei was in fact asking whether the fucking was canonical.)

Tem: This time, Eito betrayed us because he loved us. There is no emotion Eito can experience that will not lead him to betray us.

I think this is the fifth 'holy shit, I can't believe our best friend Eito betrayed us' revelation we've had. This must be really embarrassing for you, Takumi.

I went back to the Coming-of-Age route and chose to sacrifice Nozomi.

Riona: When we decided not to sacrifice Nozomi, we held hands and defeated Eito with the power of friendship. So what's going to happen on this route?
Tem: We're going to hold feet and defeat him with the power of hatred.

I cannot describe to you quite how much this made me laugh. 'I don't think we are,' I barely managed to say through my tears.

I'm laughing again just typing it up. Somehow it really tickled me!

I can't believe how much of this game there is. There are a hundred endings, apparently. Having played for fifty hours, we've seen six of them.

Is this that screenshot I've seen floating around with Eito on top of Takumi? Very interesting dynamics there (plus I've become increasingly fond of Eito — everyone in this game is extremely cute) Honestly it's refreshing to see they didn't shy away from more fucked-up fates.

100 endings though?? The urge to play this game grows stronger each day. Has it been easy for you to kind of backtrack to achieve these other endings or do you need to just basically play the whole game over again for them?

I wanna hold feet - I have plenty of hatred to help us win!
