The Answer Is [livejournal.com profile] kadrin/George Carruthers.

I keep wanting to make a poll with questions like 'WHAT IS THE TRUE LIVEJOURNAL OTP? [livejournal.com profile] thebaconfat/[livejournal.com profile] squeemu, [livejournal.com profile] ladybella/[livejournal.com profile] tick_, [livejournal.com profile] jantalaimon/evil/[livejournal.com profile] draegonhawke, [livejournal.com profile] rionaleonhart/crack/[livejournal.com profile] dracothelizard, etc.' and 'WRITE A 250-CHARACTER REAL-PERSON FANFIC ABOUT SOMEONE ON YOUR FRIENDSLIST', but I fear that it would be far too creepy. Also, I don't want to give you frightening frightening people any excuse to send me into Silent Hill.

So, instead, I am going to wonder aloud why on Earth I haven't written a Top Gear/Silent Hill crossover involving Zombie Piers Morgan yet. I mean, honestly.

Actually, I have a question for you all. There are two 'fandom injokes' I know of in the Top Gear fandom: Zombie Piers Morgan, and the idea of Jonathan Ross writing terrible Top Gear fanfiction. These are recurring concepts in the fandom, despite the fact that they never appear in 'canon' (which is, of course, real life): Zombie Piers Morgan will pop up in fanfics and discussions; people will write hilariously dreadful fanfiction 'by' Jonathan Ross (in fact, he now has his own journal: [livejournal.com profile] wossy60).

Do any of your fandoms have injokes shared by the entire community? What are they? Do you know the origins?

I'd imagine that they might be more likely to develop in fairly smallish fandoms, but I could be wrong.

......Can't I just leave Bella, and live with Piers? I don't care if he's the undead! I'd love him anyway!

Only if the networks refuse to commission a series after they've seen the pilot.

Which they won't do, because it will be the best show ever.

I suppose we could write in Zombie!Piers as a sidekick.

Emphasis on the kicking, I suppose.
