"Oh, Bugger, Snakes Again?"

I met up with ms_treesap in Brighton today and, it appears, very nearly killed her with hugging. Er, whoops. We talked at great length about Doctor Who and RPF and, for reasons that I am sure made plenty of sense at the time, Master/K-9, and we concluded that Septimus of Stardust is quite clearly the reincarnation of Severus Snape, and then we went to see Ratatouille, which I enjoyed very much, largely on account of its being gloriously silly. It was, however, the first time in a long time I have come away from a film without a head full of crossover ideas. (It was also the first time in a long time I have watched a film without th_esaurus. I suspect that this may not be a coincidence.)

It was lovely to meet you, ms_treesap! I AM SORRY FOR RAMBLING SO MUCH.

(I found the following saved on the automatic post recovery and do not actually remember writing it: If any of you actually needed absolute proof that the Top Gear fandom has corrupted me beyond repair, here it is: I just absently thought 'I can't actually think of any cars that James May is likely to have had sex with. But in your case, I bet he has one special bike for that sort of thing.
